My mission is to inspire you to Evolve Through the Chaos of motherhood
I created Moms, ETC to inspire moms everywhere to Evolve Through the Chaos of motherhood
Purpose: To provide simple, relatable tools and techniques to moms in their search to help them regain their identity, create the life they want and redefine their purpose and passion in life.
Being a mom of 5+1 (boys and husband) I know what it is like trying to balance everything, maintain your identity along with enhancing your purpose and passion in life.

Just a Little More About Me
I have been married for 19 and counting years with my love and we have 5 boys ranging in ages 17-2 (smiling). Our household theme is “The House That Never Sleeps”. I was born and raised in Georgia (True Georgia Peach). I love all things crafty, unsweetened tea, the juice and crust in peach cobbler and because of my boys, I have become a lover of ALL sports. I do therapeutic coaching and I am a certified Integrative Wellness and Life Coach. I have bachelor degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice and I have a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have completed the post-partum support and 2020 Mom Professional Maternal Mental Health Certification Training(link to description), I am a Gottman Seven Principles Couples Leader (link to description), Gottman Bringing Baby Home Leader(link to description)( and an Emotional Clearing Practitioner)(link to description). With my first son I suffered with hyperemesis and because it was my first pregnancy, I did not know it had a name until it was bad. I thought it was just a bad dose of morning sickness. During this time, I was put in the hospital twice, had a catheter to support a feeding tube and had a nurse that came to visit me at home on a weekly basis. I delivered a healthy baby through the ceasarean method. The following three pregnancies I still experienced 9 months of sickness but I was smart and dealt with it early. I was put on meds strong enough for patients suffering from this evil thing we know that starts with a “C”, those births were vaginal deliveries. 10 years later, I gave birth to my fourth child, 9 months of sickness: yes, ceasarean delivery. I can truly say with this child, I experienced bouts of post-partum. I believe I was too sick to notice if I experienced with the first.
Prior to becoming a mom and when I became a mom, I researched and read books on how to prepare for a newborn and I felt well-prepared. What I did not know was that I needed to also learn how to incorporate balance, time-management and self-care. I was not prepared for the personal transition that would take place. As I began to research topics on motherhood and how other moms were managing time, balancing and practicing self-care, I began to implement what I had learned into my life.
Through my mom experiences, I’ve learned many things:
- I am not “motherhood perfect”
- Raising a family is probably (I hope) the most challenging job that I will ever have
- I am not Wonder Woman, nor Super Woman but I do feel like Bionic Woman
- I am the only person that can make me happy, but my husband and kids try really hard sometimes
- I’ve often put myself last so that I can take care of others
- Sacrificing myself is not the answer
- I have to seek care for myself so that I can give to those that I love
